தன்னிடம் உதவிகோரி வரும் வாடிக்கையாளரின் பலகீனங்களை பொறுத்துக்கொள்வதை விடவும், அவரின் உள்ளார்ந்த மானுட இருத்தலை சமூகப்பணியாளர் அங்கீகரிப்பது அதைவிட அவசியமானது. இந்த மனோபாவத்தின் அடிப்படையில்தான் குற்றம் பாராட்டாத மனோபாவம் உருவாகும். இதுதான் உதவும் உறவுமுறையின் முக்கியமான அடிப்படைக்கூறு என்று சமூகப்பணி அறிவுறுத்துகிறது.
