பென்சிசைக்கிளிடின் என்ற இரசாயனப் பெயர் கொண்ட இப்போதை மருந்தைப் புகைத்தோ, மூக்கால் உறிஞ்சியோ அல்லது வாய் வழியாக உட்கொள்ளும் போதோ மன மயக்கியாகச் செயல்பட்டு, அந்த மயக்க நிலையை மீண்டும் மீண்டும் பெறவிரும்பி சார்புத்தன்மையை உருவாக்கும். நீண்ட நாள் உபயோகம் மனச்சிதைவில் கொண்டு விடும்.
