The organization within the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) that helps states and local jurisdictions compel parents to meet their obligations to their children. The office helps plan and manage programs to locate absent parents, establish paternity, coordinate activities among states, and bring to justice parents who do not fulfill their obligations.
