மணமான தம்பதியினர் தங்கள் மணவாழ்வின் போது சேர்த்த (குடும்ப) உடமைகளைக் குறிப்பதற்காக பயன்படுத்தபடும் சொற்பிரயோகம். இதில் திருமணத்திற்கு முன்னாள் அவர்கள் சேர்த்த உடமைகள், சொத்துக்கள் அல்லது அவர்களுக்கு கிடைத்த அன்பளிப்புகள், மரபு வழி சொத்துக்கள் அடங்காது. ஆனால் திருமண பந்தத்தின் போது அவர்கள் ஈட்டிய வருமானம், பிற முதலீடுகள் போன்றவை திருமணச் சொத்தாகக் கருதப்படும்.

The material possessions acquired by a husband and wife during the years of their marriage. Community property usually excludes all property owned by each party before the marriage or property acquired after the marriage through inheritance or gifts, but includes salaries, investments, and unearned income that each partner has received while married.
