Council on Post-Secondary Accreditation (COPA)

An accrediting body for university and graduate school education in the United States, including social work, that was established in 1949 and ceased operations in 1993. Many of its functions have been taken over by the Commission on Recognition of Post-Secondary Accreditation (CORPA).
