நலத்திட்ட உதவிகளைப்பெற, அந்த உதவிகளை வழங்கும் துறைகள், நிறுவனங்கள் வரையறுத்த நிபந்தனைகளைப் பூர்த்தி செய்வது. உதாரணமாக முதியோர் ஓய்வூதியத் திட்டத்தில் பயனடைய விரும்புபவருக்கு, 60 வயதிற்கு மேல் இருப்பது தகுதியாகக் கருதப்படுகின்றது. முதியோர்க்கான வயதினை உறுதிப்படுத்தும் சான்றுகளை (பிறப்பு, கல்வி மற்றும் திருமணச் சான்றிதழ்) அத்தாட்சியாக இணைக்க வேண்டும். அதுபோல விதவைகள் நலத்திட்ட உதவி பெற கணவரின் இறப்புச் சான்றிதழினை சமர்பிப்பது தகுதியாகக் கருதப்படுகின்றது.
