வாரத்திற்கு இருமுறையென்று மூன்று மாதங்கள் தொடர்ச்சியாக சிறுநீர் தன்னிச்சையாக வெளியேறுவது சிறுநீர் தானாக்கழியும் நோயாரிகுறியாகும். இதில் மூன்று வகைகள் (இரவில், பகலில், இரண்டு வேலையிலும்) கண்டறியப்பட்டுள்ளன.
