பல்வேறு பண்பு நலன்களைக் கொண்ட, வயது, மதம், இனம், அரசியல் சார்புத்தன்மைகளால் வேறுபட்டிருக்கின்ற உறுப்பினர்களை உள்ளடக்கிய குழு. மாறுபட்ட தன்மை கொண்ட உறுப்பினர்களை உள்ளடக்கிய குழுக்கள் இயங்கு (செயல்) திறன் மிகுந்தது என குழுக்களை வழிநடத்தும் பெரும்பாலான நிபுணர்கள் கருதுகின்றார்கள். அதுவே குழுவின் நோக்கத்தை அடைய உதவும் கிரியா ஊக்கியாகச் செயல்படும் திறன் கொண்டதெனவும் கருதுகின்றார்கள்.
