இருப்பிடத்தில் கொடுக்கப்படும் மருத்துவ சேவைகளோடு இன்னும் விரிவான முறையில் கொடுக்கப்படும் பல்வேறுவகைப்பட்ட சேவைகளின் தொகுப்பு. மருத்துவக் கவனிப்போடு மட்டுமன்றி, நடமாடும் உணவு ஊர்திகள், வீட்டுப் பராமரிப்பு போன்ற பலசேவைகள் இதில் அடங்கும்.

Programs usually conducted by local and state departments of human services to assist people who have problems that preclude basic self-care needed to remain in their own homes. Such programs include homemaker services, meals-on-wheels, chore service, home health services, respite care, and attendant care. Some social workers also call this domiciliary care services; others use the term“home care services”as a synonym for“homemaker services”and“domiciliary care services”as a synonym for programs to help needy people with the physical repairs and maintenance of their homes.
