உடலுறவின் போது பரவச நிலை அடையாதிருப்பது. போதுமான பாலுறவுக் கிளர்ச்சி இருந்தாலும், பாலுணர்வின் புணர்ச்சிப் பரவச நிலையை / உச்ச நிலையை அடைய இயலாத கோளாறு. உடலுறவு போதுமான உற்சாகத்துடனும், போதுமான கால அளவில் நடந்தாலும், புணர்ச்சிப் பரவச நிலையைப் பெண்கள் தாமதமாகவோ அல்லது அடைய முடியாத நிலை. போதுமான கிளர்ச்சி நிலை அடைந்திருந்தாலும், போதுமான அளவு ஆண்குறி விறைப்புத்தன்மை கொண்டிருந்தாலும் ஆண்களிடம் விந்து தாமதமாக அல்லது வெளியேற இயலாமல் போவதும் தடைபட்ட புணர்ச்சிப் பரவசநிலையைக் குறிக்கும்.

A sexual disorder in which the client is unable to achieve satisfactory orgasm following a period of sexual excitement. In women, orgasm is delayed or absent even though the sexual activity is considered adequate in focus, intensity, and duration. In men, ejaculation is delayed or absent even though there may be an erection and adequate sexual arousal. This disorder is not caused by organic disorders. Sex therapists and other clinicians have replaced this term in diagnosis with the terms male orgasmic disorder or female orgasmic disorder.
