1. செயலிலோ அல்லது நடத்தையிலோ தென்படும் தயக்கம் அல்லது கட்டுப்பாடு. 2. உளபகுப்பாய்வுக் கோட்பாட்டின்படி அதியகம் அல்லது தொலைநோக்கு (super ego) மனதால் சில இச்சைகள் கட்டுப்படுத்தப்படல் 3. நடத்தை இயலின்படி சில செயல்களுக்கு மறுவினை ஆற்றுவதில் தயக்கம்.
