உலகெங்கிலும், ஒவ்வொரு நாட்டிலிருந்தும் செயல்படும் முதியோர் அமைப்புகளை உறுப்பினராகக் கொண்ட கூட்டமைப்பு. இந்த அமைப்பு முதியோர் பாதுகாப்பு மற்றும் அவர்களின் சமூகப் பொருளாதார நலனில் அக்கறை கொண்டு செயல்படும் அமைப்பு. இது உலக சுகாதார அமைப்புடனும் சர்வதேசத் தொழிலாளர் அமைப்புடனும், பிற ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் சபை நிறுவனங்களுடனும் இணைந்து பணியாற்றுகின்றது.

The nongovernment international organization comprising national associations of and for older people that provides advocacy and education and promotes social and economic well-being for the world's older populations. IFA works closely with other organizations, especially the World Health Organization (WHO), the International Labour Organization (ILO), and other U.N. organizations.
