நெருக்கமான நிலை

குழு வளர்ச்சியின் நிலைகள் பற்றி பல அறிஞர்கள் வகைப்படுத்தியுள்ளனர். அதில் கார்லண்ட், ஜோன்ஸ் மற்றும் கொலோட்னி (Garland,Jones, & kolodny) குழுவின் வளர்ச்சியை, குழுவாவதற்கு முந்தைய ஆரம்ப நிலை (pre-affiliation), உறுப்பினர்கள் மீது அதிகாரம் செலுத்தவும் கட்டுப்படுத்தவும் முனையும் நிலை (power and control), நெருக்கமான நிலை (intimacy), உறுப்பினர்களின் தனித்துவத்தை அங்கீகரிக்கும் நிலை (differentiation), மற்றும் குழுவின் பிரிவு நிலை (separation) என்று ஐந்து நிலைகளாக வகைப்படுத்தியுள்ளனர். நெருக்கமான இந்த மூன்றாம் நிலையில் அதற்கு முந்தைய நிலைகளில் உறுப்பினர்கள் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் உணர்ந்த பரஸ்பர எச்சரிக்கை உணர்வுகள் மறைந்து, தங்களுக்குள் நெருக்கமாகி, தங்களுடைய அனுபவங்களையும், உணர்வுகளையும் பகிர்ந்து கொள்ள குழு பாதுகாப்பான இடமென்று கருதத் தொடங்கியிருப்பார்கள். அவர்களிடம் பரஸ்பர அக்கறை உருவாகி மற்றவர் நலனில் அக்கறை காட்டத் தொடங்கியிருப்பர். குழுவின் வாழ்நாளில் இந்த நிலையே அதிக கால கட்டத்தை எடுத்துக்கொள்ளும்.

The third of five group development phases in which group members tend to lose their mutual guardedness and struggle to establish their roles and power within the group and become genuinely concerned about the well-being of the other members. In most groups this is the longest phase and the time when most of the individual and group goals are reached. In this concept of the various stages through which groups progress, this phase follows the preaffiliation phase and the power-andcontrol phase and precedes the differentiation phase and the separation phase. Many other typologies have also been proposed to describe the phases in the typical life of groupwork or a therapy group.
