மருத்துவக் காப்பீட்டு நிறுவனங்கள் காப்பீடு பெற்ற ஒருவரின் சிகிச்சைக்காக செலவழித்ததைத் திருப்பிக் கொடுக்க வைத்திருக்கும் நிபந்தனைகள். 1. எடுத்துக் கொள்ளப்பட்ட சிகிச்சை அந்த நோய்க்கான சிகிச்சையாக ஏற்றுக் கொள்ளப்பட்டிருக்க வேண்டும். 2. சிகிச்சையளிக்கும் மருத்துவர் அங்கீகாரம் பெற்ற தகுதிசால் மருத்துவராக இருக்கவேண்டும். 3. அது பரிசோதனை முறை சிகிச்சையாகவோ, அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட சிகிச்சை முறைக்கு மாற்றாகவோ இருக்கலாகாது. 4. மேலும் எடுத்துக் கொள்ளப்பட்ட சிகிச்சை நோயாளியின் உடல்நலனை மீட்டெடுக்க உதவியாய் இருக்கவேண்டும்.
