தேசிய சமூகப்பணியாளர் சம்மேளனத்தில் உறுப்பினராக உள்ள அனைவரும் பின்பற்ற வேண்டிய பண்புக்கூறுகள், விதி முறைகள் மற்றும் நடத்தை நன்னெறிகள் போன்றவற்றை விரித்துரைக்கும் தொகுப்பு. இதன் முதல் வடிவம் 1951 ஆம் ஆண்டு அமெரிக்க சமூகப்பணியாளர் சம்மேளனத்தால் உருவாக்கப்பட்டு, பின்னர் 1960 ஆம் ஆண்டில் தேசிய சமூகப்பணியாளர் சம்மேளனத்தால் திருத்தியமைக்கப்பட்டது. இந்த நன்னெறித் தொகுப்பு காலத்திற்கேற்ப திருத்தங்கள் செய்யப்படுகிறது.

The explication of the values, rules, and principles of ethical conduct that apply to all social workers who are members of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). The original Code of Ethics for social workers was implicit in the 1951 Standards for Professional Practice of the American Association of Social Workers (AAS W). NASW developed a formal code in 1960 and has made subsequent revisions. See the complete NASW Code of Ethics in the end of this volume.
