The organization of social work educators who head schools of social work in the United States. NADD started in the 1970s as an informal annual meeting of deans and directors during conferences sponsored by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). Its (about 130) members now meet at least twice yearly to confer about the problems and plans pertaining to social work education.
