National Committees of NASW

A component in the governance of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), this group of standing committees mandated by the Delegate Assembly and various ad hoc committees and task forces serve at the will of the NASW Board of Directors. The mandated standing national committees are the committee on inquiry, the Committee on Nominations and Leadership Identification, the National Program Committee, the National Finance Committee, the National Committee on Racial and Ethnic Diversity (formerly the National Committee on Minority Affairs), the National Committee on Women's Issues, and the National Committee on Lesbian and Gay Issues.
