The National Conference on Women's Issues, an NASW-sponsored forum established in 1980 for those interested in highlighting and researching social issues of particular concern and relevance to women, including sexism, gender-based discrimination, the "glass ceiling," and social work practice issues such as feminist social work, nonsexist practice, and gender-sensitive practice.
