orgasmic disorders

The sexual disorders characterized by persistent or recurrent delay or absence of orgasm following a normal excitement phase, or premature ejaculation, causing marked distress or interpersonal difficulty. These disorders occur in both men and women. Diagnosticians indicate whether the condition is lifelong or acquired, generalized or situational, and due to psychological or combined factors. In diagnosis the term replaced inhibited orgasm.
