குழந்தைகளை வைத்திருக்கும் விவாகரத்தான அல்லது விதவையான பெற்றோர்களுக்குக் குழந்தைகளைப் பராமரிக்க உதவி செய்யும் தேசிய அளவிலான தொண்டு நிறுவனம். இந்நிறுவனம் துணையற்ற பெற்றோர்கள் தங்கள் கவலைகளைப் பரிமாறிக் கொள்ளவும், குழந்தைகளை வளர்க்கவும், பிறருடனான தொடர்புகளை வலுப்படுத்திக் கொள்ளவும் உதவுகிறது. துணையற்ற பெற்றோர்களுக்கு உதவும் வகையில், அவர்களுக்கும் அவர்கள் குழந்தைகளுக்கும் பயனுள்ள அனுசரணையான கருத்தரங்குகள், அனுபவப் பகிர்வுகள் மற்றும் பொது நிகழ்ச்சிகளை ஏற்பாடு செய்கிறது.

One of many national self-help organizations, with chapters in most U.S. communities, most of whose members are divorced or widowed people raising children. PWP provides opportunities for its members to share their mutual concerns about child rearing and maintaining healthy social relationships. It sponsors discussion groups and educational and social activities that are comfortable and useful for the parents and their children.
