முதுமைப் பருவத்திற்கு முன் தோன்றும் உடல் மற்றும் மன அறிகுறிகள். முது முன்னுளக் கேடு (pre-senile dementia) என்ற வார்த்தை, முதுமை வயதடையாத ஆனால் முதுமைக்குரிய அறிகுறிகளுடன் இருப்பவர்களைக் குறிக்கக் கடந்த காலத்தில் பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டது. இப்போது இச்சொல் அதிகமாகப் பயன்படுத்தப்படுவதில்லை.

The term "pre-senile dementia" once was used to describe mental deterioration in people who had symptoms of senility but who were not of advanced years; however, this term now is rarely used because of its lack of precision.
