பிரத்யேகத் தேவையுள்ள குழந்தைகளைத் தத்தெடுக்க விரும்புவர்களுக்கு உதவ, அமெரிக்க மத்திய அரசும், மாநில அரசுகளும் கொடுக்கும் உதவித் தொகை / மானியம். ஒரு குழந்தையைத் தத்தெடுக்கும் போது, அக்குழந்தையின் உடன்பிறந்தாரையும் தத்தெடுக்க வேண்டிய சூழ்நிலை, பொருட்செலவை ஏற்படுத்துமளவிற்கு தத்தெடுக்கப்டும் குழந்தையின் மருத்துவ / மன நலப் பிரச்சனைகள், குழந்தையின் இயற்கைப் பெற்றோரிடம் போக முடியாத குழந்தைகள், ஏற்கெனவே தத்தெடுத்து, பொருளாதாரக் காரணங்களுக்காகவோ, அதிகக் கவனம் தேவைப்படும் பட்சத்திலோ தத்தெடுத்ததை தொடர முடியாத நிலையிலுள்ள பெற்றோர்களுக்குப் பொருளாதார ரீதியில் உதவ வேண்டியும், குழந்தைக்கான பிரத்யேகத் தேவைகளை வாழ்நாள் முழுதும் பூர்த்தி செய்ய வேண்டியும் அரசு கொடுக்கும் உதவி மற்றும் பிற சலுகைகள் இதிலடங்கும்.

The provision of public financial assistance to families who adopt dependent children. Recent federal and state legislation has established criteria for subsidizing adoption. The two prominent criteria are that the child is unlikely to be returning to the birth parents or should not be returning to them and that adoptive placement without a subsidy has already been attempted for a specified amount of time by the proper authorities but has been unsuccessful because of the child's physical or emotional condition or racial or ethnic background.
