transpersonal social work

A holistic and multidimensional approach to providing social services that emphasizes spirituality, moral development, and other aspects of transpersonal psychology. Reductionistic, linear models of social and psychological problem solving are thought to be insufficient for today's models of intervention, and transpersonal social work also values the positive, healthy expansion of human consciousness to the realm of the cosmos.
