transpersonal therapist

A psychotherapist or pastoral counselor who provides a full range of holistic mental health services but who emphasizes issues of spirituality, moral development, and access to one's higher levels of consciousness including the soul. The therapist does not focus exclusively on pathology or social problems and goes beyond self-actualization toward higher states of consciousness and a cosmic connection between humanity and the universe.
