கடன் அளிக்கும் நிறுவனங்களான வங்கிகள், கடன் அட்டை வழங்கும் நிறுவனங்கள், கடன் வழங்கும் சில்லறை விற்பனையாளர்கள், ஆதனவியலாளர்கள் (வீடு , மனை விற்பனை செய்யும் ரியல் எஸ்டேட்காரர்கள்), கடன் வழங்கும் போது, வட்டி வீதம், வருட வட்டி, திரும்பச் செலுத்த வேண்டிய காலம் போன்ற நிபந்தனைகளை, தங்கள் வாடிக்கையாளரிடம் ஒளிவு மறைவு இல்லாமல் தெரிவிக்க வேண்டுமென்று காட்டாயப்படுத்திய அமெரிக்க மத்திய அரசின் 1968 ஆம் ஆண்டுச் சட்டம்.

The 1968 federal law (Pi. 90-321) requiring full and clear disclosure of the terms of loans for which individuals apply. Commercial lenders, including banks, credit card companies, retailers, and real estate organizations, are required to reveal the amount of interest charged, both as an annual percentage and a dollar amount.
